This restaurant in Mansfield, CT fell victim to flooding in their basement that was caused by a recent storm that passed through the area. Due to the severity of the flood, the restaurant was forced to close down until they fixed the problem. Disaster struck in this commercial kitchen in Tolland, CT when a stove caught on fire. Luckily for them, SERVPRO of Manchester/Mansfield was quick to the scene! Hartford Hospital recently had a pipe-burst on one of the buildings that it owns and water damaged at least 3 of the levels of the building. The water damaged doctor’s offices, patient rooms, and also waiting rooms, making it so the hospital building could not run. SERVPRO quickly came, dried out the water, and remediated the damage so that the building could be back up in working order as soon as possible.

Pipes don’t only break in the winter. In August of 2018 in a major hospital in Connecticut, a pipe for the sprinkler system broke causing water damage to one 3,000 ft² floor. SERVPRO quickly determined how far the water damage had spread and removed the water with their pumps and drying equipment. Next, they removed the unsalvageable material and restored the material that had not been too badly damaged. Finally, they deodorized the area and the hospital was good as new.
